Max Line & Streetcar

TriMet bus system, (Metropolitan Area Express) Light Rail connects downtownPortland with Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro, North/Northeast Portland and the Portland International Airport. Streetcars run on a 4-mile one-way route from NW 23rd Avenue through the Pearl District to Portland State University Urban Center, RiverPlace, OHSU, the Aerial Tram and to a terminal at SW Lowell & Bond at the South Waterfront District. In 2011 the loop alignment project will connect downtown Portland to the Rose Quarter, Lloyd District, Convention Center, Central Eastside and OMSI.
